Your mission briefing for booking
To kick things off smoothly, we’ve simplified the whole process into four clear steps. Choose your experience, book online, get your invitations, and await your final arrival confirmation — then it’s game on.
Choose a package, date and time
Visit the Gaming Bus Packages page and choose the setup that suits your event. Select your weekday or weekend slot, choose your duration, and pick the date and time that works best for your party.
Start your booking online
Click Book Now to begin your booking and enter your party details in the online form. This helps us confirm availability and make sure your chosen package is ready for your event.
Secure your booking with a deposit
Pay the £50 deposit to lock in your selected date and time. Once payment is complete, you’ll receive an email receipt confirming all your booking details.
Receive your party invitations
We’ll send you a printable and digital invitation template you can share with your guests. This gives you everything you need to start preparing and building excitement for the day.
Get your pre-party information
Fourteen days before your event, you’ll receive an email explaining what to expect on the day. This message also includes instructions on completing your final balance payment smoothly.
Final arrival confirmation
The day before your booking, you’ll receive a WhatsApp message confirming our arrival time. This ensures you know exactly when to expect us and that everything is ready for a stress-free party.
Your game guide for party day
Before you jump into the action, here’s a quick guide to the questions parents ask most often. From setup and space to timings, safety and what happens on the day, this section gives you everything you need for a smooth, stress-free party experience.
How many people can game inside?
Dependant on your package – Between 8-12 Gamers. Event bookings will accommodate a rotating guests system, enabling game time for more gamers but only 8 games at any given time.
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes, upon booking a £50 deposit is required to secure your desired date and time. This is fully refundable if cancelled 15 days or more, prior to your booked date.
Are the children left alone in the POD?
No - A DBS checked Gaming Host will be inside The POD to help and assist at all times, leaving time for the adults to sit and relax. We just ask for a responsible adult to be on hand, just in case one of the children do not settle or need the bathroom.
Do you drive around during the party?
No, the vehicle is stationary and detached
What about bad weather?
We can operate in all weathers – Just not extreme weathers. The POD is fully insulated with heating for winter and air conditioning for summer.
Do you need any power?
Yes please - We require access to 1 plug point and an internet router to ensure stability of the gaming experience. The POD uses approx. £1 of electricity per hour.
Is there any game lagging?
This is somewhat dictated by the speed of your internet.
Where do you park?
On your driveway. The POD is 7m x 2m (caravan size), please ensure the driveway is clear and has easy access.
What if I don't have a driveway?
No problem – We will check your address on google maps and confirm if we are able to park on the roadside outside your property. N.B. For safety reasons - This must be on a quiet roadside only. If your property is on a busy road, please contact your local community centres, hubs or anywhere that has a car park, as we are then able to accommodate your booking.
I am concerned my child may connect to an inappropriate game for their age?
There is no need for concern, we are very aware of age appropriate gaming. We do not have any games onboard above PEGI 16 and find that younger gamers only play games which they are accustomed to playing at home. We also ask the adult booking the party/event to confirm which game they would like to start the party with - this gives us a better visual of what games are required for the party. Our Gaming Hosts are on hand throughout the duration of the party to help. PEGI ratings are for purchasing games and not for level of age.
Do you provide food and drinks?
Sorry, no food or drinks are allowed inside The POD. This helps keep up with the hygiene of the POD and makes sure no spillages can cause accidental damage to any of the facilities or internal décor.
Is there an age restriction for using The POD?
The POD is recommended for anyone 8 years old and upwards who are able to use Playstation’s or Xbox’s.
Is the karaoke available on its own for parties within my own house?
Yes – Our Karaoke machine is available to hire with the Gaming POD or on its own to be played within your own house – Please see our packages for further details.
Will you travel outside your service area?
Yes we can travel outside of Cheshire & Manchester – A mileage charge will be added onto your package price. We are based in Stockport and cover a 20 mile radius.
My child can play a Nintendo Switch, will they be able to use the consoles within the Pod?
We find that young guests who have only played on a switch can feel extremely overwhelmed and as there is one of us and at least 8 children onboard, we are unable to help all of them at the same time. Please only invite guests who are able to play on PS & Xbox gaming consoles.
